Ohara Koson

Ōhara Koson was famous as a master of kachō-e (bird-and-flower) designs. As a distinguished figure in the shin-hanga movement, he blended traditional Japanese woodblock printing with Western techniques, creating works known for their elegance and subtle beauty.
